Emulator is an electronic device connected to the data bus of the truck to simulate the presence and work of SCR system. In other words the car system treats the emulator as a full tank of AdBlue.
The only difference is a price. So, the emulator costs just a few hundred euros and the annual AdBlue liquid expenses may reach 5% of the whole amount spend for fuel, i.e. the liquid may cost you hundreds or even thousands of euros a year.
The installation takes less than an hour and consists of 3 steps:- Connect 4-8 emulator wires to your car;
- Remove 1-2 fuses to disconnect the system;
- Run diagnostics to scan your car problems. If there are no problems, the diagnostics is not required.
